daface SG

actually height doesn't matter lah, since I suppose they will only be standing up in a face off in one of the climatic scenes (you know what lah), camera angles can work that out Smile

pitt + cruise are star power material
dicaprio + damon should have played the younger versions LOL

4 stars + Nicholson, Baldwin, Wahlberg, now that would've been cool! Very Happy

bismarck SG

gotta watch this. Laughing

Wanda SG

Heng, both are not in the movie.

Must watch....just for the 4 leads. Saw the trailer...don't think Leonardo can beat Tony Leung's portrayal of wu nai in the HK's version....which was so subtle and powerful. Very Happy

They can call it THE HUNKS, and I'll still watch it... with the 4 leads. Laughing

Gordonator SG

when i saw the trailer, the first thing that came to my mind was infernal affairs!!

^spidee^ SG

Thank God it's not a title like 'Snakes on a plane'. Laughing

monoslayer SG

its the hollywood remake version of infernal affairs.

Parka SG

Definitely.

I was like Shocked , when Andy Lau said "Shui Zhi Dao" (who knows) after threatening to erase Tony Leung's identity.

Best scene! Awesome.

Parka SG

That's a good movie title.

according to the writers, in christianity, the deceased are known as "the faithful departed". since this movie is about faithfulness, they decided to name it as "the departed".

secondly, it can also means that the 2 main character departs from the world they wanted to live into another.
