Been to the new Cathay Cinema Lately? The place is really huge
Though the renovation is not quite ready and there are no shops yet
but the cinema is already open for business.
Saw the new french(with english subtitles) movie DISTRICT 13
directed by Luc Besson shot entirely in france, You won't see the
eiffel tower with lovey dovey kissing couples what you will see
however will make you agree with me that it is well worth the money
to watch this movie.
The story line is abt this slum area in France full of arms and
drug dealers, crime lords with armies carrying powerful guns like
GPMG holed up in fortresses or terrorizing the neighbourhood within
the slum area called B13 or district 13. The public outcry is so
bad that the police have the whole area walled up and cordoned off
to keep the criminals in.
From the start of the movie to the end is non-stop action of
machine gun spraying, running and fighting, jumping from building
roof top to roof top, fast car chases and acrobatics, is a bit
hilarous also.
If you like Yamakazi and Bourne Identity this is the ultimate it's
also a bit like the movie "bad boys"
