Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children

Gordonator SG

Just checked, US edition will be out in late November. Should be in dual sound in japanese and english with the standard english subtitle. guess we will just have to wait then.

anyway below is the DVD cover for the japanese version, think some places here are selling but very costly.

left: Standard Edition, right: Limited Edition.

This is awesome.
Non-gamer of FF7 is advice not to watch this since you won't understand anything.

not to worry, there's a special feature inside the DVD call "Reminiscence of FFVII" which gives an overview of Final Fantasy VII for those who have not played the game.

The animation is pure crap when compared to Final Fantasy: Spirits Within in my opinion. The flow of hair and facial features in Final Fantasy the Movie is stunningly realistic. I have never witnessed such realism in a CG world; at least, in the history of cinema.

Well, the action sequence in FFVII Advent Children is commendable though the same cannot be said to the CG. I wonder if Advent Children was made based on the PS3 platform.

I am sure it falls short when compared to Final Fantasy: Spirits Within.

stellazio SG

they should make FF8.. Laughing

duotiga83 SG

x2....but no $$$ now for dvd.... Confused

Gordonator SG

i haven't watch advent children yet, so i can't compare it with Spirits Within.

actually i find that Final Flight of the Osiris from the Animatrix is the best realistic computer animation i have seen so far. Cool

M©+square SG

It falls short? How come?
In what sense does it fall short?

CoolMyth SG

Got it through torrent when it's out. Laughing

philia SG

In terms of CG.
