(Chicken and Duck Talk) was made in 1988.
Story is about this miser Ah Hui who operated a roast duck
restaurant. His restaurant was extremely filthy and the staff
service was below par, but he still enjoyed a regular stream of
customers, thanks to his delicious secret roast duck recipe. Enters
a strong competitor across the street selling fried chicken and Hui
was forced to upgrade his service level while keeping costs low,
with hilarious results.
Comic chemistry between the brothers -- Michael as the miserly Hui
and Ricky as his much-bullied employee Cuttlefish -- was absolutely
in top form here.
Happens to be my favourite Hui brothers comedy as well. Brings back
the good ol' memories.
