My offer price for this COE car

Pappy Lee SG

Hi,

Would need some feedback. Am looking at a 20 year old COE car with a listed price of $23k with COE till 2015

Vehicle is a 92' Toyota. price quoted by the car dealer. I was thinkingu of negotiating it down to 16k. Think it's reasonable?

Thanks for any advice.

I meant Toyota Celica

Toyota 1992 is instead a OLD car...

U can visit some online cars' websites to do some research.

@$23k (below), u may get 1 with COE until 2019.

Just did a search for you.... just google on the http.

Thanks for replying.

Ur link is to toyota corolla leh

I am looking for a 90s sporty car and narrowed down to FTO, 93' Evo and celica.

Guess I miss my gran turismo 1 days on the PS1...

U mentioned hard to find spare parts... Hmmm true... But I just wanna spend around 20k on a fun-to-drive car for the next 3 years b4 scrapping it...

Think it's too much $$?

Oh and coming back to the topic... $7k off the dealers' 23k... Tink dat is ok?

On the 92' Celica with COE till dec 15...

You would have to be pretty prepared to cough up for the next COE then?

That's a very brave proposition to take on a COE car just 3 years down the road - anyway, I think you should consider using a ceramic repair gel for the engine and gearbox (Your Celica is a manual, I believe)

Will certainly be worth your while :-) I just tried it on my 21 year old Merc...and then my 3 motorcycles and then my transmission and then my rear axle
