to run a long distance, may it be 21 or even 10km start when you go for your training runs. Not at the starting line of the race. insufficient training will...

Half marathon.... Here I COME!

Gordonator SG

LOL. 12km maybe i can still take it. 21km seems too much. Laughing

kops21 SG

what is long is relative in my mind. u need to cross that mental barrier. Wink

deathscythe99 SG

Let's train together lar Wink

I din know I could finish it till I did it last year. Mr. Green

spencer99 SG

Will there be a race chip?

kops21 SG

Gordonator SG

kops21 SG

Gordonator SG

any ideas what items will be given when u sign up for the Half Marathon? or rather what items were given for last year run? Wink

kops21 SG

u so gain the freebies meh Confused

last year, 1 t-shirt, 1 medal and some useless discount vouchers only. lousy lah.....

u wan good stuff, go for Standard Chartered Marathon...

got shoe bag, 2 piece of T-shirts(1 standard piece for everyone, 1 Marathon Finsher), Finisher Medal, some useless discount vouchers also. but of course the register fee is about 5 times more expensive. Laughing

Gordonator SG

i'm not interested in the freebies. i'm only interested in the medal. got pic? Wink

k4korny SG

just saw ur post..
nope, not in the army.. so have to train myself.
u sound veli fit man.. will u be going for e osim triathlon?

for me, I just had a motorcycle accident recently.. going to remove my cast tomorrow.. hopefully, can start some light jogging by the end of the month. so sian, after resting for so long, have to find the motivation to start running again.

kops21 SG

sportsphotox seem to be the local official photographers for all sporting events. Rolling Eyes

kops21 SG

i have no $$ for a bike, so cant join OSIM triathlon Sad I would love to do that 1 day....maybe next year

I am not really that fit. I can run Half-M at this moment, but a Full-M still require some training to push on.

Wow, accident, must be painful. Sad start ur run slow & see you around more often. Wink

k4korny SG

actually getting the bike is just the first problem -> transporting the bike is the bigger prob (unless u have a car and the bike rack) !!

imagine if u live in Jurong and have to go east coast for the race, by the time u reach there, you would have completed the bike part of the triathlon liao.. Laughing

k4korny SG

Registration hasn't started yet rite?

was at safra this afternoon , when i ask the recept abt the race, she look at me like blurr blur.. Shocked

kops21 SG

according to safra webby, it say registeration at all safra branches are open. i guess as usual it is only for show nia. Sad

wuming78 SG

oh yes i will be there this year. probably with my unit Wink

kops21 SG

i know what u feel about bike transportation. You can always stripe the bike and put it behind the cab boot and transport it over. A typical car should be able to put in 2 bicycle, i am informed.
