I never bothered .... he was no geek ... he was just a hippie
who got lucky and rich off the backs of his real geek friends ....
I'm not sure if he's ever written a single line of programming code
in his life ... unlike bill gates ....
looking at the tributes on fb, you'd have thought someone on the
level of say, mother teresa, died .....
but no ... it's just a rich ex hippie who made cartoons and
over-priced electronics assembled in chinese sweat shops ....
the lemmings effect ? ...
I knew for a while that Ive made most the look and feel of
Apple's stuff possible, while Jobs was the arbiter. But that's
minor compared to Foxconn, the lack of corporate social
responsibility (red iPod aside) and the way that Apple controlled
what was on the iTunes store and the devices, making it the new
Microsoft.
I can only give him credit for making so many people swoon for
his products and their trumped-up features. They've created new
opportunities for their users, yet they could be so much
better.
