speaking of our friends up north ...
was just talking to the uni housemate who invited me to his
wedding in KL ....
he's just back for the wedding .... after which he's returning
to the UK ... where he earned a law degree after graduating in
canada ...
they are suffering from a serious brain drain up there .... we
were talking about the malaysians we knew in pluto .... only 3
returned home .... one to take over the fam buusiness, the other
two because of relationship issues.
the rest were all scattered around, australia, canada,
singapore, the US ... it's a pity, many of them moved onto grad
school and they all study things like engineering and the sciences
... and it's not just the lain-lain that are not returning home
.... the bumis too, surprisingly ...
