Y'know, MG, on the subject of going solo, it sometimes means a
'lighter baggage'. 
Times when you go out in groups, you have
to take into account everyone's opinions and preferences and that
can present a big headache. Sometimes, it's good to 'travel
light' and just do whatever you want and have quiet zen
moments. 
Even when it comes to sports, I'm attracted to solo sports and
activities like swimming, canoeing, rowing, etc.
