Sexciting day for Merc as Shumie and Rosberg slug it out, although
I must say I would rather Rosberg get a place higher as has
happened.
Still pretty good day for Schumie, finishing way ahead of his
21st position he started with.
And ouch for Kubica who lost his 2nd place, but thank goodness
no one was hurt aside probably from some bruises.
Renault is also getting rather fast.
Yep, they got pretty good results in spite of their penalties.
Even if they'd started in their original grid positions I don't
think they could've finished higher.
Renault have been very hard working, getting feedback from the
drivers at the factory and bringing updates to every race. They got
their priorities right by introducing more significant parts first
and taking their time with the F-duct. The new rear wing works very
well in conjunction with it.
Robert said he was making adjustments to the car inside the
cockpit when he overshot his pitbox.
MotoGP next at midnight, starting with the 125cc class. Ben
Spies on pole for the main race and Nicky Hayden on the front
row!
