Seriously, I don't understand some parts of Malay tradition.
The idea of the groom giving the dowry to the bride makes
perfect sense - in the end, the couple has to use that money anyway
to set up a household.
But putting a few thousand dosh in cash out in plain sight just
to show off to the guests.... how smart is that supposed to
be?!?!
