summary of wat Najib & LHL agreed on today.
1) KTM will shift ops to Woodlands Centre by July 2011. Tg Pagar
railway station and e railway tracks en-route would be
redeveloped.
2) A company called M-S Pte Ltd would be set up under 60%
Malaysia, 40% Singapore stakeholding. They would oversee the
redevelopment of e land parcel of KTM land at Tg Pagar, Kranji
& Woodlands, 3 parcel of land at Bt Timah.
They could also do a land swap as Singapore has agreed to give
up 1 plot of land at Marina Bay for the JV.
3) Singapore will ensure there's adequate bus services to
compensate for the railway shift.
4) 8 new bus svs (4 provided by M'sia, 4 by Singapore) into JB.
Confirmed sites in Singapore are Changi Airport, Boon Lay, Yishun,
Newton, 2 IRs.
5) Tg Pagar & Bt Timah Railway station facade would be
preserved.
6) Singapore would handover the Skudai waterworks in good
condition when e 1st water agreement expires next year. It'll not
be renewed.
7) 2nd Link road toll would reduce.
