Apparently some legal bigshots (read: court judges) were there
for a conference when the lights suddenly went out.
Add to things like poor room air-conditioning, poor room
service, and so on, and quite a few of the justices actually walked
out of the conference.
I think that they really were in too much of a haste to open
that den of vice.... I mean, resort. It's only about half-done,
there's still plenty of heavy construction going on, and they
probably didn't do proper dry runs.
Ha ha! I'll bet the conference was just a cover story. The judges
were probably engaged in some high-stakes gambling there at
the "invitation" of the casino owners.
