Anyway, I saw a funny scene at the MRT just now on my way
home.....
Some middle-aged Indian fella had his ez-link card in his shirt
pocket...... so he BOWED 90 degrees in order to
bring his shirt pocket to the fare gate sensor....
I couldn't help but give him a funny look..... wouldn't it have
been a lot more graceful (and take a lot less effort) to just take
out the card of his shirt pocket with two fingers and tap it
against the sensor?

recently at the CCL when i was coming home... this middle-aged
(about 50years old) couple and a man.. husband talking to
man, obviously engrossed in conversation, wife try to fit in by
staying close to them... they were talking broken english and
very loudly ..
comes to the gentry, man and husband tap card and walk out..
wifey used bag to tap, after many attempts, failed and refused to
take out card. husband and man still walk ahead not knowing
the woman was struggling at the gentry. after about 15 steps
away, husband turned around and saw his wife doing the "die die use
bag to tap", he continue to talk to friend and walk away...
wife finally got thru gentry and ran after them..
i went ...wtf !
