saw this old auntie who's a bit siao. Spoke cantonese to the bangla when she sat opposite him in the bus. the bangla was stunned and didnt know how to react. But the auntie still looked really involved in the "conversation".

got see if she has a bluetooth device on her ear or not?

sometimes i see the people walking around seemingly talking to themselves but got bluetooth thing on their ear.. walking around talking like that makes them look like lunatics

oh yah.. many years ago, i was on a bus from Jurong East to my place... a bunch of Indian foreign workers got on a bus... and they started to bargain with the bus driver about the fare..

the bus driver scolded them and kept telling them to pay up.. he was very angry and suddenly, he shouted at them.. of all things.. hokkien obscenities!

when he reached the next bus stop, he opened the door, yelled at them some more and pointed out telling them to pay up or get out... they paid up

I'm quite certain it is, now that you say he is from Bedok. Coz when i saw him in my trips, he seems to be heading in the direction to Bedok.

Goodness, just wonder how he still know basic things like tappig the ez-link card, what time to board the bus and destination when he behaves like a madman.

I don't take that route often now, so is that guy still around? Or has he checked in to IMH yet?

I think I met that man on the bus before, he was sprewing profanities to no one in particular then suddenly he turn to the Indian guy sitting beside him and scold him with profanities like blaming him for something.

When the Indian guy got up to alight, that madman even slap him on the back. Luckily the Indian guy didn't retatilate and just walk off, and the madman alight at Bedok.

There's this old man near Hougang CC who stands at the bus-stop with a whistle.

Whenever the bus comes, and the door opens, he would whistle and wave to the driver...machiam like one of those train peeps.

The drivers must have gotten used to it, cos they have learnt to wave back to him.

hey, the guy used to be at AMK bus stop too...

he usher the buses into the bus stop bay and usher the buses out.. we will go up the bus in a proper manner... he machiam manning the crowd..

Thanks to his loud " beeps", everybody find themselves wild awake already, his whistle did us some good afterall..

Local public transport I think the most perverse thing I had witnessed was standing next to a teenage couple in a very crowded train where the girl was whispering very loudly about *cough* her lack of underwear and the boy's reaction to it.

Taking the greyhound in US alone to Vegas, I remember the very uncomfortable experience of having a terrible stomachache enroute... and not being able to go to the coach toilet cos a wino was drunk across the door, and not daring to go at the toilet stops cos scared the bus will leave without me. Wa, I tahan for HOURS until Reno. *cold sweat*

During the same journey, the coach stopped in the middle of the desert (and middle of the night) and the driver stopped the bus and came to this guy sitting a couple of rows in front and threaten to kick him off for disturbing the guy next to him. Wonder how he was disturbing him cos err I didnt hear anything leh.

Hmm..... I once had a madman in the bus seat in front of me who did pretty much the same thing too..... he kept slamming his head against the bus window and yelling profanities....

Maybe it's the same madman? In my case, I remember he boarded the bus somewhere in Bedok.

Hey I saw this fellow before in bedok as well.. in his fourties wearing specs right? He would yell profanities at no one in particular.. Think he has tourette's syndrom or something, poor fellow..

I rode a b9tl on 7 and a young boy is screaming loudly and annoys passengers on board. His parents had warned him to quieten down or he will be caned when reached home. No one offers to help him or make a complain to the BC, people just keep watch only.

Another case when i took 132, SBS625Z last year from Hougang Ctrl Int, an adult belive to be in his 30s, argued towards the BC for not switching on the BC ezlink console upon boarding the bus. He yelled that he claimed that he is a 'doctor' by showing him the 'doctor pass'.

I was taking bus 167. some bespectacled guy with side-parting hair sat at the behind-left corner seat of the bus, i was sitting on the right corner.

He had one of his hands inside his pants and furiously moving his hands about his crotch area. Didn't seem to care that there were people on the bus at all.

Worst still, after awhile this happy young couple board the bus and sat beside the pervert, and he stopped. The pervert dropped some stuff and ask the guy to help him pick up. I gave the "ewwwww" expression when the guy's hands touched the pervert's hands.

One particular incident that i came across really reaffirm my impression on the new generation of teenagers who are dropping deeper and deeper into the abyss of vulgar attitudes and behaviour.

I was on Bus 21 one night, the bus is empty, except for a young punk (the typical beng with a cap, black top and shorts), scolding a old lady for no particular reason at all. As i wanted to stop the punk from his disgraceful behaviour, the old lady alighted the bus in disdain, and i didnt pursue the matter further

the most funny incident i encoutered on DD 147 Auntie VS Auntie

Auntie Quiet who is already on the bus sitting infront of me closing her eyes resting. (those side facing sit). on the next stop Auntie Phone board the bus yakking loudly on her hp .. sit beside me and continue yakking .. as i cant stand her loud voice and flying hands .. i move away to the standing area.

The fun begins .. Auntie Quiet who was woke up by Auntie Phone, cant stand her loud voice ... stand up walk towards Auntie Phone and spit on her :lol: .. Auntie Quiet quickly press the bell and escape to the door and wait there to get down on the little india stop .. good timing i must say :lol:

Auntie Phone stand up shouted "you siao cha boh y spit on me" and wanted to chase Auntie Quiet .. Auntie Quiet stand at the door shouted back "ri ka siao talk so loudly on phone who want to listen" . Just nice, reach the next stop.. Auntie Quiet quickly get down and Auntie Phone couldnt grab her .. no choice but stand at the door and continue her scolding #%^&$ (all conversation in hokkien)

lucky i move to the standing area if not i sure get involved in this shit :lol: eveyone on the bus was laughing :lol: serve Aunite Phone right for talking so loudly
