yesh it receded very quickly
but wat disturbed me was the interviews on PAP Times. One
commented how can a atas housing area be flooded like tat.
Ahem, refers back to 1980s
Yeah, boss! I can remember the floods back in the '70's
and '80's. I was in Primary school then when there was a
really bad flood that the canals beside the school couldn't
handle. We had to wade in the water and were all amused at
the guppies thrashing on the metal floor of the bus!
However, I was definitely NOT thrilled by
the cockroaches floating around, thrashing wildly with their legs,
trying to swim close enough to you so they can climb onto
you!!!
