Yes!! Ideally, I can learn enough conversational Japanese
and Korean to find my way around. I want to venture out to
the rural areas.
I'm currently reading "Snake Fang Salad" where a photographer
was paid by Lonely Planet to eat his way through China and write /
take photos about his adventures / misadventures.
I think after I have saved enough for a car and the 10,000
driving lessons I'll need, I'll save for a DSLR.
Me, my car and my camera will be
visiting the rural areas of Victoria and then some once I get my
driving licence, God bless the Australians who cross my path!

better to master the jap 1st before i start speaking simple jap
in japan.. i
did that once, i just spoke "eki e doko desu ka.."
and the full jacket suit and ties group of senior managers
started "ano....yakaauatkatakatkaak wa
nikiantotktoktkaktaoto..."
i went "huh"...
