Here's another touchy subject.
I've noticed sometimes there are these girls who have been
friends for a long time, perhaps since primary or secondary school
and still friends through thick and thin. But when it comes
to relationships and marriage, the ugly one will always be still
single and the pretty ones will be married or at least always have
a constant stream of male companionship.
I think it's sad when this happens. I know this group of 6
girls. Friends for about 20 years. 4 are very pretty, and all have
always had boyfriends and now married. The 5th is
short, ugly and doesnt smile much. She's 40 now and imho I dont
think she's ever had a boyfriend.
Another group of 3 I know- 1 is extremely pretty and jetsets
everywhere with her outgoing husband. the 2nd is pretty but is more
settled down and has 2 little gorgeous kids. The 3rd is overweight
and ugly and is, of course, single.
Question to the attractive married girls:
How do you help your less desireable friend?
Do you ever talk about it or is an off limits topic?
Do you talk about perhaps the single girl needs to try cosmetic
surgery, or actually exercise and eat less, or perhaps reduce her
expectations- she might think she's as good looking as her married
friends and expect a great guy like the pretty oones get, which she
clearly wont.
Also, has the pressure of being the odd one out every made the
single galpal quit being part of your circle of friends?
ps: I cant quite think of an equivalent situation for guys, but
if you know such an occurance, feel free to discus too :)
