your-ancestors-were-also-from-china card .....
if it comes down to it, we're all from some tree swinging ape
from africa, neh ? .... 
I am a Singaporean ..... my ethnicity happens to be
chinese (plus some chup cheng asian blood somewhere) ... but that's
it ! ....
just because I can trace my ancestry to a village in southern
china a few centuries ago doesn't mean I'm supposed to feel some
kin-ship to 1.1 billion other chaps, some of whom are downright
obnoxious, right ? ....
but by origin, our family tree still link to there
leh...
