I have the Blackberry Pearl. OMG, the learning curve is steep on
this one. The sales person did warn me but I thought, how bad could
it be? Haiz. I've had the thing for 3 months now and I'm still
learning the shortcuts, etc. When I compose an SMS, the thing like
to prompt and second guess what word you're typing. It's so
irritating!
My 2 year contract was up and we decided to switch providers
because I wanted to lower my bill and get GSM phones. (Yes CDMA
still exists here in the States.) I only chose this model because
the damn thing was free. Grrr.
Erm most of the time I don't learn short cuts. Just navigate
there. And I think you should be able to turn off the predictive
inputs.
