Hi all,
The first impression I had of Club 30 (just by its name) was
that it was a forum for people in their 30s. It is a very
misleading name, I must say. After reading the "about club 30"
topic, I am relieved its just a name. I find the topics in this
forum more interesting than most. So I decided to start a topic and
hope that it can help the forum in some way or another.
I am a fresh graduate (mid 20s/M), who just started work 2
months back, in April. The transition from student life to being
part of the working society has also translated to a change in
lifestyle. How was it like for you when you first began to
establish your career?
For me, I could feel the weariness from working all day,
Mon-Fri. I grew a desire to do something different during the
weekends to break the monotony of work. I was never one to go out
often during schooling days, when I was only focused on CCA and
sport groups. Nowadays, I enjoy abit of pool, K session, clubbing,
checking out new eating or drinking hotspots and other fun stuff.
Things which I would not have want to do when I was only a "poor"
student.
With this topic, I hope to find activity khakis for the weekend.
If anyone is interested, I could pm them and try to organize
something.
Also, does anyone have any great ideas on how to spend the
weekend to unwind? Anyone with an insight of "sg's best kept
secret"?
