East: Simei

North: Nee Soon (Nearer to CBD than Woodlands)

West: Jurong East/ West

Meia Gisborn SG

If money were no object: Sentosa Cove.

East: Geylang (Where there is plenty of good food that opens late, facilities from swimming pools, libraries, polyclinic and MRT is.)

West: Jurong Westm (Trying to buy a flat there now. Its good to rent out there. Looking for a 5I hdb resale, so I can build in two more bedrooms.)

North: Orchard Road (Only if I strike more then 2 toto top prize and has money to burn.)

for me, Circle Line is cmi.. e MRT is only 3 carriage compared to 6 on e NSL/ EWL/ NEL

i use it as a guage for the distance between town and any other part of singapore, no where else will it be more convenient.

especially serangoon, bishan, holland etc

not about taking circle line.

actually it very much depends on the profile of the owner la. some people can live their whole lives without going into the CBD

Kembangan is the best for the east....where i am currently staying...quiet place and not much people as well....also quite near to city and various amenities...
