Not quite. I load my down to a muzzle velocity of 2400 fps using a
668 gr. FMJ boattail projectile, since I'm just punching holes in
paper at 300 yards. Saves wear and tear on the firearm and, more
importantly, my shoulder.
S$5 for a 50BMG cartridge is not bad at all. Does Chartered
Industries make it?
everything that goes pop in the SAF is made by chartered,
except, as far as I know, the 5.7's for the SOF's P90s, and the
7.62 sniper rounds .... those are from lapua ...
