Speaking of "make active intestine", I have had several patients
thank me before because post-operatively, a common symptom is
abdominal bloatedness. It can be extremely uncomfortable but
there's a very easy solution for it - take Yakult or pop
Lactobacillus tablets, available from the pharmacy
over-the-counter. They are somewhat the same thing because
Yakult also has Lactobacillus Acidophillus. The tablets that
have to be kept refrigerated is preferred over those who are just
sitting on the shelf due to the potency. You can check the
strengths of the different brands of tablets on their labels and do
a proper comparison before buying.
Normally, post-op, the antibiotics that are given as a
precautionary measure against infection do knock out the microflora
that are present in our intestines and which assist in the
digestion process to a certain extent. Drinking Yakult or
consuming probiotics products help to establish that microflora
balance back in the intestines.
Took Lacteol fort (not too sure of correct spelling) .. seems
quite good for bloated stomach ..
