ho ho ho. won a 4 GB thumbdrive in the lucky draw this
afternoon
Memory prices have fallen so much in recent months that they're
practically giving them away nowadays.
A grocery store chain here is currently giving away free 2GB USB
thumbdrives with every $20 minimum purchase. A computer hardware
store has been mass-mailing coupons to area
households redeemable for one free 4GB USB thumbdrive or SD
card when you visit their outlet, with no purchase necessary.
I currently have about a dozen USB thumbdrives and SD cards
lying around the house; one of them is propping up a leg of the
workbench in my garage to prevent it from tilting.
