I hate NETS. I hate cash cards. cash and credit card for me only.Have you had bad experience with NETS?

Not really, but NETS is now too expensive for merchants and its makes no sense for them to implement it. Many shops have stopped accepting NETS. Some will make the customers cover the NETS surcharge if they insist on using it.

So as a customer it also makes no sense to use NETS. at lease credit cards you get points or discounts.

Oh yeah.... for my custom-made PC, the shopkeeper insisted that I pay in cash even though he had a NETS terminal.

Simply put.... 1.9% of $1360 is no small potatoes to the shopkeeper....

In supermarket over here, the same "gadget" can be used for atm cards, credit cards and debit cards.... very convenient.

okie .. I'm asking, as part of a client's solution proposal .....

for those who chose nets, why nets ? .... I mean, the transaction is a lot slower isn't it ? .... key in the pin and all that ? ....

so the thing against cash card, is that you have to keep topping up ? ....

on more item. nets deductions is reflected in the bankbook but Cashcard? Sometime i to up $50 and had to top up again in 1 week time. You don't even know what happen to them. ERP, Cashcard parking........no records unless you own on of those damn card readers

how much do people usually store in their cashcards? thing is most people maintain minimum amount thus the hassle of frequent top-ups.

I prefer cash.

Because I never keep track the amount I spend in my cash card and EZLINK.

I use NETS because I always forget to get money from the ATM - so if not enough money - good thing if got NETS.
