Hehe if you get a chance to, try a moisturiser with high Vitamin
E content e.g. Rosken or Invite E, an Australian brand. They
MAY BE on par with L'Occitane in terms of effectiveness cos of the
Vit E ingredient, and significantly cheaper cos they're mass market
brands. But they would not feel as luxurious nor smell
as nice as L'Occitane lah :D
L'Occitane vs Avon, Vaseline and Cetaphil, not surprised that
L'Occitane wins hands down. Vaseline only does petroleum
jelly well, all their other products are "for fun" items, good for
casual use all over body for light maintenance but not intensive
enough for repair.
When it comes to beauty, for certain items you can't deny that
money buys quality and performance. I can't find a a mass
market shampoo and conditioner that works as well as salon
brands. Mass brands are either too drying, else the
conditioner causes significant hair loss during wash. It is
something that I just have to splurge on.
