skid SG you don't have comprehensive coverage? it pays for things like broken windshields. is it a crack or a pit? pits can be repaired, cracks usually just keep getting longer. I have no idea how much a new windshield costs.
nick34 SG Check with your insurance co. Some insurance co. covers the windscreen and you wont lose your NCD
storywolf SG Go check how much to replace it - if you can afford it then pay on your own, if you feel too expensive - then too bad claim insurance. Since it is spreading, that is serious !!! very dangerous.

mancha SG Ordinarily, windscreen not covered. Check your policy, it should be clearly stated there. Repair at own cost. NCB will not be affected.
Vodka_Blu SG Dangerous wor... i juz replaced my cracked + pit windscreen with dbl securing @ $210... Since it has extended to 20cm... my tot's change la, no pt repairing as the scar will be still thr... see whther the cost can claim back... Jz my 2 cents of tot... Cheers
