my friend baked a loaf for me the other day - choco chips with walnut
it was very very nice
i almost dashed out to get the same bread-making machine! (it's only $149 during promotion time at tangs)

she says home-made bread has got no preservatives
she bakes at least twice every week
(just dump the ingredients in, the thing will knead for you and bake for you! in 3 hours.)

so tempted!

Chey! He should have used better English and say something like, "Bread, regardless of the brand, is still bread." That is more self-explanatory. By simply stating "Rice is rice, bread is bread", I was thinking, DUH?! But of course? If not what? Bread can't be rice, right? So of course, bread is bread mah!

The PM pays himself millions of dollars to make such pronouncements, so he has to be right...
