the Bear SG had a few hamsters.. here's the last couple of them... Rodney the Rodent passed on unexpectedly.. he was fighting with me over sunflower seeds one day and dead the next.. poor little fella... and this is Horatio "Hamster" Hornblower, or Triple H for short or just Trips.. he was silly, dumb, but had a lovely disposition... poor little fella passed on from old age... there were others and i wish i had pictures of them... i loved them all
Rhonda SG Awwww... Chinchillas are like real-life pikachu's!! Too cute!! One of my friends had two chinchillas, a mating couple. One day, she noticed that the female seemed to be constantly grouchy and moody and bullied the male by pushing him away from the food bowl when their habit was to eat together side by side. The male just quietly let her do whatever she wanted, like he was giving in to her. She also became snappier towards the male chinchilla for no reason. The male one just took everything in his stride. And then, a few weeks later, they realised that the female chinchilla was pregnant! The male one was just giving in to his queen! Maybe, tolerating her mood swings was his way of showing chinchy love? *Altogether now... Awwwww!!!
Rhonda SG I never loved black cats before I had Cody. I read that black cats can be more affectionate and a friend who had one, swears that it's true. Cody was really loving. Maybe he knew I saved his life because each night, he'd lie on the sofa next to my mattress on the floor in the living room, and watched me as I watched TV and waited to be sleepy enough to fall asleep. Sometimes, when I turned over to look at him during advertisement breaks, he'd gaze at me, stretch out one or two lazy paws, and pat-pat my face gently. Any wonder his nickname was "Buddy"?
Rhonda SG I remember you saying that Trips was quite the gourmet too! Every night, we'd be horrified by the non-hamster food that you were feeding it! I'm sure Trips died happy because he had a very happy and gastronomically awesome life!
