Blood donation is not so scary after all. No pain too apart from the fact that my arm is starting to bruise.. Lets hope more people can join us if there's a next round of blood donation.. Fatum SG Thanks to all bleeders for coming today, (and also the one who came but couldn't donate ... it's the heart that matters ... ) it's been a long long time since I donated blood, and they do now give you anesthetic shots first ... it doesn't hurt at all when the yakult straw goes in, honest ! ... and thanks to all who turned up for the dim sum buffet afterwards ... that was an amazing amount of food consumed, including 6 trays of stewed chicken feet ... ... and thanks to 7-11 for the after meal drinks ...
bluejuice SG Actually, I don't really know what the anesthetic shot is for because I still feel a little pain when the yakult straw went in.. Seriously.. they can do away with that, so that we don't have to be pricked twice! But its hilarious when ahem said "wasn't it to mark the spot" ???

Fatum SG we are already planning for the next round of blood donation .... three months hence .... but there's also apheresis donation also (giving platelets) which you can go for monthly ... hope to see more people turn up this time ...
