popikachu SG The first ever time i kena drew my blood is when i was small... I kena some kind of very very high fever and didn't went to school for a long time... Second time was in school because of my health (ok i was very fat at that time)... and... the feeling is... gosh man... although no pain... but i just feel giddy and vomiting... just imagine it i am scared liao... such a thick needle poke into you and drain blood out of it... that time the amount of blood they drain was very little nia... then... the donation is... hehe... so many ^^ i not scared of injection... but i scared draining of blood... lol

the Bear SG i can walk off after donating blood, go back to class, go walk around, go to a pub that night and still be able have a few drinks and all that... it's all in the mind
bluejuice SG I once had very high fever that won't go away too.. The doctor had to poke a thick needle with a huge syringe then take blood to go testing.. Its just a bit more blood... your body replenishes itself after a while..
the Bear SG lots of illnesses can lie dormant or you become a carrier... sort of like africa has a bunch of illnesses which vector can be insects or soil..
