SBS3625D SG Honestly, unless you like the life of a regular, you should never sign on. Or you'll start venting. My ears are aching from all the evnting from most of my ship crew.
av98m SG everyone single person I know who signed say they regret ok....but all of them were specs, not sure about blokes who sign on as occifers
SBS3625D SG And please look beyond $$. If you keep thinking about your ORD date, you can be sure signing on will be a mistake.
stellazio SG and suddenly something occurred to me. those warrant officers, sign on till they retire. when they finish their term, and finally get back their pink ic. won't it be a alien they're looking at? i mean those times, their ic photos are taken at the age of 12 right?
SBS3625D SG I heard of this interesting case about this guy who signed on for a few months, then broke the bond. RICH BASTARD.
av98m SG time for a spot of buddybuilding...one of my 2008 resolutions is to get my weight down to 75kg
Kuali Baba SG I knew it wasn't for me, and A-level grads get a smaller sum. Anyway, Stell, the 20k will wait for you for one year (from your date of enlistment).
the Bear SG i'll just not eat much for Jan when i was injured in 2006, i lost 13kg in 5 weeks... and if i do the same with activity, i think i can lose more
fudgester SG I know a few people who signed on after seeing the $$$ dangled before their eyes. They all regretted it. Like I've told many a forummite in the SAF forum who enquired about signing on.... if your main reason (or the only reason) for wanting to sign on is the money, then you should NOT sign on.
av98m SG I'm pretty much carrying all the muscle I can hold already, working out with the weights is just for maintenance and to kick my metabolism into gear. My main form of exercise is still swimming.
stellazio SG i'm not that tempted, because i wana go back to school to study. but my friends are like Wow, 20k.. thats alot of money and if i get to study my pte degree during that time even better. so $$$ might be the main reason for most to sign on, but my poly mate signed on because he was PES A and wanted to escape the chiongsua life.
