Christmas presents: what to buy?

zoragirl SG

for very very close friends, i will observe wat he/she really need before i buy...
but normally i will look for things like below :-
close guy friend - shirt / cufflink / perfume
close girlfriend - bag / accesories - earings, pendant etc

happy shopping!

I agree with Zora...

Its difficult to suggest presents.. I usually will observe to see what the person needs/like. Then I shop for it.

One thing that I hate to get as a Xmas present is a mug or towels...

Keep the ideas coming, I'm still sifting. Razz

Cash is nice. So are gift cards but that could imply that you don't want to put in the effort to find the receipient the "perfect" gift? I have to buy gifts for:

Grandmother in law
Cousin + her husband
Father & mother in law
Father in law's sister
Mother outlaw and brothers outlaw Laughing
The above gifts will have to be mailed or mailed via online orders.

Son - game crazy but I refuse to buy more games.
Daughter - book crazy but she already knows she's getting books. I just want to get her something different.
Husband - very chin chye. Too chin chye in fact. Which makes it very difficult for me.

the Bear SG

so... when do you want to go shopping? Embarassed

elindra SG

For me nothing is better than cold hard cash
Coz sometimes the person thinks I want something but in reality I can do without it Laughing I'm a practical person. The perfect gift for me is cash or unless I choose it myself

I dunno man? Something they can use or maybe some nice moisturizers or something for the dry weather

Son - Get him a WoW figurine
Daugther - Bookmark? Book ends? Book shelf?
Husband - Give him favour vouchers like " Turn this in for a kiss: etc Twisted Evil You get the picture

selfobliged SG

shop online.

Yah, I think I'll end up doing that especially since I don't want to hit the post office. I think I'll get them all something from Lands End or Sears, only because I can get a discount. *still pondering*.
