I was telling the guys yesterday that someone from PAP Times
called up and said he was writing an article on the disappearance
of Canned Pork from the shelf and wants to know the reason
why.
I was dead busy yesterday so I didn't entertain him and said we
don't import China products (which is true too)
I have not seen any ban from AVA so I would assume that there is a
shortage of pork locally in China afterall the Chinese are
importing pork into China like it is air, keeping pork prices
high.
I believe their local demand might be so high that it makes no
sense to export
Anyway these are just my assumptions
So Fatum, appreciate the can that AV is giving you as your
Christmas pressie
