Yeah, well as my prof said.... I should be glad that I'm the
first person ever to do this particular experiment, because:
1. There is no pressure to reproduce the results of previous
experiments
2. I have the flexibility to design it the way I see fit
3. Being a completely original piece of work, I wouldn't be
intruding onto the turf of others (and get accused of
unoriginality, plagiarism, etc)
4. If all turns out fine, it can really get my work noticed.
5. If the project's screwed, it's still understandable.
So yeah.... feeling much better now.
