Well... its a useful tool only if its a flat surface behind. If its not, the sensors are of no use at all.. its still better to rely on your eyes...

and Crown Casino is pretty.. sit near the outside where the flames blast out periodically.. you can feel the heat from the flames..

friends and i did that.. just enjoying the drinks and looking at the flames Smile

The memorable thing I did at Melbourne.. I fell off the bed (which is about 2-3 mattress high)...I forgot I was at my kakis friends place...thought I was at home.. rolled over and fell right down on the floor, onto my face....! so embrassing.. Embarassed

yeah.. however, you gotta go a certain distance to take the pics.. and the last time i was there, melbourne streets have changed a lot.. i can't navigate any more Neutral

when i was there, the whole of melbourne was in a massive grid pattern.. now with the new arterial freeways, not anymore Razz

Yeah I love those shows. I've only been to Royal Perth Show and Royal Easter Show at Sydney... not the Royal Melbourne show yet but i think they are similar
Its great fun, loads of fooooood, SHOWBAGS!!!!!, performancessss, rideeessss, gameeess... ahh i love it

i remember that there is a bridge (for cars actually) over looking the entire place....but the vibration from the motor vehicles will mess up the pics eventually...haiz..

i love them

but with my unstable back, i don't think i can handle the high-G rides anymore... i was one of those maniacs who went the whole day at one of those theme parks in Gold Coast and wasn't on rubbery legs.. so i had to drive back..

come to think of it, i think i did about 60% of the driving during that huge vacation we went to during my uni days...

4 of us hired a car and we drove the thing from Melbourne to Sydney, toured a lot in NSW and then drove from Sydney to Gold Coast.. toured a lot and then drove back.. we put 6,000km on the car Laughing

they have horse shows, then sheep shearing, dog, cat and all kinds of things...

very very fun

i remember a horse stuck out its tongue at me.. then i went to pat it.. it neighed and nodded its head.. it was a pretty horse Laughing

wow... second to train holidays, i love driving holidays.

So much to see, so much freedom to roam, stop anywhere u want. I also enjoy cooking a packed lunch and just stopping at any of the picnic sites for lunch. This time around when I go Oz end of the year, I'm going to bring my stove and can have hot coffee at the beach!!

we also enjoyed going to beaches.. around Byron Bay, we bought fish and chips lunch, sat at the almost deserted beach and just ate...

it is nice Very Happy

although in melbourne city, st kilda beach is nice to walk about too.. lots of shops and stuff Smile
