the Bear SG some people are ranting that the airport spent $800 for each chair.. some even allude to corruption... thing is, none of them even attempted to find out how much a chair actually costs
LOTUSfairy SG i have seen inventory tags on the chairs before...I stared at the price in disbelief.... some "cheapo-looking " chairs put in some briefing rooms (poorly maintained and certainly under-used) can cost so much...! real or not??
Meia Gisborn SG Oy vey! The Dow is currently down 100 points since the start of trading this morning. It lost 366 points last Friday.
LOTUSfairy SG the cheapo looking ones are not leather nor pVC...it's the really cheapo looking ones....slightly better than the one u see in Giant store.. ...
the Bear SG i know.. they're not cheap either... fabric when treated with scotch guard and whatever is also not cheap... it may look cheap but they aren't... again, have you looked in the clicky?
fudgester SG Okay.... I spent three hours working on some really complex mathematical equations.... ..... only to discover that I don't have enough information to totally solve them. *me tears hair out of head*
the Bear SG the basics of the American Economy now is worse than that during the Great Depression... that's according to some economist who was interviewed on the BBC recently.. think about it... multi-trillion dollar debt... not producing much... consuming craploads.. desperately dependent on imported oil... oil over US$90 a barrel the quagmire of Iraq.. an economy not geared to production anymore.. the Fed just printing money.. PRC holding obscene amounts of US bonds.. the emerging economic power of PRC.. and these are just the beginning...
the Bear SG yeah.. but before they shot off their mouths (fingers?) they should have at least checked first.. now, if such fugly chairs cost so much, how much are the nicer ones then?
LOTUSfairy SG http://www.bizchair.com/3680-os.html this one very nice, good to put in my room...... but when I saw the price...erhh...close the page...! dream on..
the Bear SG maybe i should get a futon anyway, i'm contemplating getting the giant tv for the folks... see when they say okay then i go get
