The fire that was reported burning in the boonies yesterday is
now a raging inferno. There are now 9 fires burning throughout San
Diego county and it is bad. Many homes have burned to the ground
and 250,000 people have been evacuated. Many towns to the east of
us have been evacuated and we are waiting to hear if we will have
to. So far, so good but you never know what a new will bring. The
weathermen say the Santa Anas will continue to blow through
Wednesday so we are all bracing ourselves here. All schools were
declared closed very early this morning and will stay closed
through tomorrow. It's now 7pm here and my family's all packed and
ready to head to an evacuation centre when we hear thd call. Pray
for us all here.
