They had better stay away from me today because today is a
cooler day. You would think that locals would know to be prepared
for the heat since they've lived here for so long. You would think
right? NOT.
I start work at 11, and I will duly report to you their
shananigans.
Yesterday, because I had to help a customer, I was in violation of
labour laws. In CA, you have to complete your lunch before the 5th
hour of work. I was slated for 4 hours and 30mins and I ended up
leaving work 20 mins late.
Even though I wasn't
slated for lunch, I had to be outta there by the end of my shift.
It's a never ending battle with the clock, where I'm concerned. How
can you expect people on straight commission to just hand over a
sale to someone else to ring up? Or take care of a problem by the
end of your shift? Unrealistic and impractical.
