Eyes quite dry, but it's ok, cuz I experienced dry eyes quite often during my contact lense days. Just have to be careful not to rub my eyes..

Any bro Sis here has gone for the lasik . want to find out any complication , complaints.

From what i heard a lot suffer from dry eyes , glare , halo ( which disappear after awhile) .

will be useful can also let me know what is the degree of your myopia , astigma

i heard of complications such as double vision, dry eyes, halo, teary eyes, blindness both temporary n permanent.

u get to enjoy yr eyesight up till 40+, after that lao hua yan set in, yr perfect eyesight oso gone
so it is best to start early to gain the most out of it Mr. Green

Mine is about 200 plus for each eye. Many ppl say dun need lasik as 200 plus can go without lens or glasses. But I have been wearing contact lens daily for so many years. Now I am having problem with contact lens as my eyes get very dry easily.

Is it advisable for 200 plus degree to go for lasik?

I know it's very low. I tried going to work without lens. Ended up cannot see my colleagues' faces.

the doctor told me lasik is more for 400 to 800 degree

I also thought of switching the contact lens from month disposable to daily ones. Then I calculated and realised that after a few years of using daily disposable, the money spent is as much as the fee for lasik.

anyone here is mid thirties like me will it be a waste to go now as chance by 40 will need to wear glass again.

Any long term side effect as the process is irreversble heard of a process of implant a len to the cornea anyone tried before ?

by the way will wearing spec over time make your eyes appear smaller

just dun go for traditional LASIK, go for custom LASIK , LASEK, etc etc, that doesn't invade the cornea.

Best is to go for wavefront guided, bladeless LASIK.
Traditional LASIK is valid for approximately 8+ years of optimal vision.

and 200 degrees is not a good idea for undergoing eye surgery. It's not *wise* anyway, with the risk and all...
