pluck all the hair/feathers and stuff like that...

wash by rinsing and rubbing the icky slimy bits off as much as you can.. then pat dry with either dry cloth or kitchen towel...

then use the spice/salt mixture all over inside and outside.. then put in a clean plastic bag, put in the fridge and leave it there for about 3 days
