erayvne SG 600 a month u can NEVER afford a car... Installment, insurance, petrol, parking, erp, fines, servicings blah blah blah... But.... u should get ur licence first. and 18 is too young for a car. Don't get urself into debts.
so_nice SG 600 per mth? british pound? forget about owning a car wif 600 bucks per mth. unless u dun need to eat everyday drink from water cooler.
rainhawk87 SG To Ts, i did some calculate before... but not worth it. ETc 1 car 1.6A cost 70k 1st thing is getting car loan first (without it no talk 10yrs) 2nd thing is to pay 10% downpayment on the car 3rd if u are 18 year old ur insurance sure high one. set aside Road tax about 400-500 per 6 months insurance 3k per year maintance about 200-500 per 10- 50k km petrol (15km/1 L average 200-300 per month) season parking 100 at multi storey carpark dont talk about fine, take as shopping parking 100 per month the one i hightlighted in red is the most difficult part setting about 8k first then monthly i set $800 still very very hard
baby hunter SG X3 dont only look at the installment...patrol are pretty expensive now ( i'm paying abt $300 every mth ) + carpark + routin maintainance + road tax + insurance.... ..... average out, easily nd ard $1000 per mth to keep a car.
so_nice SG oops. my bad. didnt notice u mentioned about getting bike. bike is a much better choice for u. parking, road tax and insurance is real cheap. but ride carefully though.
