My sister can be infuriating most times.
Even when we are young, she has this bad habit of bossing everyone
around.
We've gotten used to it. Much like how I got used to how my mother
tries bossing me around beccause she is my mother.
And the kids are now at the stage where they are extremely clingy
to their mother.
So just now, sis just wanted to go upstairs, spend some time on the
computer to buy some stuffs. So i was called out to watch the
boy.
Then the boy turned around, found mother missing and me in her
place and he cries for mama.
Mama came down and asked: Why cant you connect to the boy?
I replied: Not that I cannot connect, he wants you and his response
was instantanous for you. Not for me.
Half my mind was thinking: Frack, I am leaving in 4 days time. What
kinda connection you think your child should bond with me? The kind
that dump out the mama and follow auntie to Singapore
instead?
Whats wrong with her? She wont bear to let go of her child. But
when she wants some private time, its someone's fault for not
connecting to the child?
And besides, whats wrong with training the boy to be in the same
room, while you work on the computer and he shares a physical space
with you? Why must there be such direct separation?
