the Bear SG like i said, precious metals are soft.. platinum is too.. very soft.. so the higher the karat level (24 karat being pure) the softer it is.. most gold in singapore is probably 18 or 22 karat.. which is unheard of in most other places which sell 'gold' as low as 9 karat.. (not to be mistaken for carat weight for diamonds) go check out the titanium rings here => Titanium Rings Studio just google it or you can get tungsten rings too.. again, very hard metal.. but maybe not as nice as titanium

the Bear SG yeah.. like i said, the hardness of the metal makes working it difficult... i looked at a titanium trinity ring before.. nothing spectacular.. looks like an ordinary trinity ring.. cost: US$1,800 i would have bought it for Mrs Bear
