Hmm why don't you bring her around and try the Singapore delights? Char kuay Tiao..That oyster thing...So many to try...Try Chomp Chomp? Or the Bedok market...

a fren is coming back to sg for a visit after 7 years...

me and another fren was thinkin of gg to some bar/pubs (i dunno the diff)

someone recommend me a nice place to..
1) sit down n enjoy a drink
2) sit down n enjoy a few songs
3) some where to dance (i'm skipping this Laughing but she may wanna go visit see see)

and lastly all the nice food that reminds ppl of Singapore.

urgent! she's coming back on the 23rd!

food reminds people of singapore = zhi char places..

good place = the old substation now called Timbre.. which is where the national library used to be.. the music there is good.. there's heineken i think 5 bottles for $45 or something.. pizza and other kinds of food...

then there's muddy murphy's... pubgrub... or sunday brunch... go there on a sunday around 11am

oh.. and for non-chinese food, go to arab street, Singapore Zam Zam... eat their prata and mutabak, dam briyani and other things like their curries and whatever there..

indian food, no other place except little india.. just go there and plonk yourself into any of them.. they're almost all good...

i'll give you the lowdown on the satay when i get home.. i don't really like satay so it's the ones found in the "lost and found" magazine..

there's one at pasir panjang but not sure if it's still there..

Bedok bus interchange: Ice Jelly & Malay Stall Mee Soto
Bedok Blk 85 market: bak Chor Mee.

East Coast Park Village Hawker Centre: BBQ Stingray, Wanton Mee & Coconut drink.

Marine Parade Central Hawker Centre: Wet Char Kway teow (Near to Macdonald)

East Coast Road, Katong~katong laksa, Mackeral Otah Otah, Tau kua Pao, Durian Puffs

Geylang~Beef Kway Teow, Dim Sum, Bean Curd, You tiao, Lor 13 zhi cha (They do the best sambal Kangkong); Turtle Soup, teochew porridge; gong bao frog legs in claypot. tau huay.

Old Airport Road hawker centre: Char Kway Teow, Lor Mee, Fu Zhou Fishball noodles, ahballing desserts, Western BBQ Garlic sauce Steak. Dish of gong gong. And freshly made oneh oneh.

tanjong katong~ assam fish head; there is also a branch of puggol nasi lemak there. along the road, also a small restaurant doing 'ma lak hou guo' the china spicy steam boat.

parkway parade basement foodcourt~ mee rebus; scoops durian ice cream (next to the MPH).

Tanjong Rhu's Cosy Bay. Next to the Pebble Bay Condominums. You can try parking at the Octogan near the Indoor Stadium and walk across the bridge to it.

Songs? 'Ai Qing Hai' at Marina Square next to the Kenko Foot Massage place, where there is live singing by wannabe singers. They serve Pao Pao Char and its expensive.

Or that substation place for english songs.

To dance, recommendation is for the 'Union Square'' place at Amara Hotel, Tanjong Pagar.

Its a Salsa place, not that smoky and people there are seriously dancing then heav drinking or trying to pick up the girls.
