littlestream SG hahahaha~~~~~~~~alamak..........rhonda...........it's been a long time since i burst out laughing lah.......you............. wait ah..........i go pang jio...............
Camellias4me SG Now dat u'r back.. haf u caught the korean movie '200 pound beauty' yet? hansum worr.. the male lead..
Rhonda SG I very rough and tumble one! There are upper-class Aussies who are very prim and proper, ol' style types who originated from the UK and they really mind their manners and have the British stiff upper lip kinda bearing but they make me nervous and I feel like I can't breathe! I prefer the simpler and more humble 'common folks'. That's why my posts sound quite rough n tumble one. Not very ladylike, I know. Hope you made it to the toilet on time!
Rhonda SG Haven't! But I intend to! Actually, I've been going around, searching for original Korean TV series OST's, but bo leh! I wanted the OST's for Princess Hours, Hwangjini and Say You Love Me but, bo leh!!
Meia Gisborn SG Did you check the FA information page here? Generally speaking, FA is available only to US citizens and PRs. What your aunt suggested makes sense, and is actually the path taken by many students in pursuit of a 4-year BS/BA degree. You just have to make sure that credits earned at the junior/2-year college are recognized by and transferrable to the 4-year college of your choice.
Camellias4me SG I noe sunblock is very important.. but im juz too lazy.. So i go ard with my umbrella lor.. typical auntie.. sun also siam.. rain also siam. Hobby ah.. hmm.. wun la.. sekali u see mi.. i see u.. become even more loving coz back to 'er ren shi jia' leh?
Rhonda SG When I arrived in Singapore, I looked at the SG guys and thought, they all looked quite alright and presentable! And most of them look like gwai kia's! Great change from the druggies, drunks, playboys and lazy blokes I see so often back in Melbourne! OK, OK, that was darn biased. What I meant to say was, it's good to be home!
kopiosatu SG that means i'll never get a loan! when u say 4 year BS/BA degree. does it include photography degrees? so technically i'm supposed to sign up for junior college, then earn the correct credits to proceed? 6 yrs! i'll be... 35!!!
Camellias4me SG muz catch ah.. i like the songs from the movie also. Think u'll like it too. u can't find the OSTs in Oz or Sg? Sg shld haf rite...? Err.. i nong nong time no buy albums liao.
Rhonda SG YOu HAVE to use sunblock!! Actually, not easy to use sunblock here cause we sweat so much here. Everything turns mushy! Yucks! Anyways, the hole in the ozone layer is bigger over Australia. That's why the sun there feels so much harsher on the skin than here. Over there, I won't go out without putting on sunblock first! Er ren shi jie... that's what I want for myself! Maybe, I should whatthehell just go for matchmaking. At least, bring some huge Singapore souvenir back to Melbourne, y'know!
littlestream SG rhonda..........got............got free online dramas. when u r back in melbourne and has your pc, i'll send u all the links. there u go...........your winter window is filled!!! hey, great to hear u hanging out and moving around. it's great to explore especially you are by yourself. free and easy. i tell you.....if i ever wanna re-write any part of my life? i wanna re-write the first 2 years of my life in toronto. i was really miserable.
Rhonda SG Compilations have. But OST's don't have. Much cheaper to get them here than in Melbourne although when it comes to the Korean TV Series, cheaper in Melbourne cause they are on compressed DVD's, so the entire series only A$19-27 nia!
littlestream SG hee hee........we are re-living each other's humour!!!! u know i've always enjoyed yours!!! yeap, time flies. last sem in high school and he is done. great kid. will really miss him. kekekeke~~~yah, drama = hobby but of late.....kena overdose liao. need a break. i tink i got no stamina. either that, i can't have too much of a certain something. what kind of hours do you work? do u get weekend off?
Rhonda SG Thanks, littlestream! Actually, I heard from a lot of migrants that their first few years were bad! It's really tough and a lot of them confess to being depressed in the beginning. Nice to know cause it means I'm normal, going through what I experienced. I think it's worse being there all alone with no friends nor family. But oh well, I survived! I've made friends too! And I do look forward to a great future there! I'm going to get my PR, learn how to drive then get my very first car, then get a li'l townhouse, then get cats and maybe one Husky, and in the meantime, attend nursing courses to upgrade myself and get the qualifications I want... lots to accomplish and enjoy!
littlestream SG it's just another town bah. great shopping? well, it's about like sg lah. you know those chain stores, say like G2000? well, u see at one mall, u will see at other mall. anyways, port coquitlam is not far from the city, u can always go jalan jalan in vancouver and richmond. that one, u gotta go.........to see the tng lang. hee heee. i tink port coquitlam got this hugh supermarket call T&T. u will find it interesting to see something like that in an ang moh country. check out the province of british columbia for other places of interest. go to stanley park. that is a must. go to their aquarium. have fun
