Fatum SG they were jet black ... nothing special about them, not those neon green or electric blue ones found on ah beng's cars .....
Meia Gisborn SG Then the roving thieves would just target the $299 gold-plated door handles on his car.....
elindra SG Yeah jet black is cool and understated You really don't want to steal those neon green or electric blue ones do you Attracts too much attention
Fatum SG wah lau .... I don't zhng my car one kay ..... but I don't scrimp on functional items ..... tires, sparks, brake pads, etc ....
Fatum SG fark .... curse and swears ..... now there's a arc of a scratch on the windshield where the wiper arms went over ....
Fatum SG donch laugh hor .... there are actually teflon brake lubricants you can use for the discs ..... next time your brakes squeal, and if it's not the metal strip on the pads telling you to change new ones, you can buy a bottle of those to spray on the discs to quieten things down ....
Meia Gisborn SG Yah, but Teflon makes things slippery. If you spray too much, your brakes skeli dun work, and you langgar the car in front, den how?
YA.YA SG Hmmm just make sure you park at a place where its more bustling? But these things happens, just like how my cousin new car got scratched.. Poor guy.
fudgester SG Anyway, that said, I'm a bit lost as to why anyone would want to steal windscreen wipers. Unless the thieves mistook your car for Tom Cruise's car and wanted a 'souvenir' or something...
Meia Gisborn SG In case you've forgotten, they weren't just ordinary wipers. They were $60 wipers that had 24K gold highlights surrounding the exotic Turkish walnut inlays lining the handcrafted wiper arms.
