hmmm.....

went to san diego legoland today.

kinda bad timing.

I suppose to follow family to san diego legoland. They go into the park and I am to meet a date.

Then little boy throw a major tantrums, so we drove back to the house. So we figured we cant go san diego and i called my date to cancel.

then the little boy calmed down and we try to drive to san diego again.

date couldnt meet me by then cos he commit himself to something already.

go to legoland, went around legoland and basically am comfortable with legoland. its much more intersting then disneyland.

can say that

i prefer Generals for gameplay, they are so totally different from the rest of the C & C's usual amass-a-horde-and-attack gameplay

I can still remember how I played Dune 2000.

Use scouting and probing attacks with small armour groups while building up a huge infantry army.

Then overrun the enemy base with a massive infantry assault.

in the past i would be ok with melee attacks

but ever since Generals, i always like to experiment with many ways you can use to destroy the enemies

and with different units require a lot of precision timing, strategies etc to do it right...very realistic this way

long before Dune 2000, there was Dune II

there were a few weird things you could do with that.. you could build concrete slabs all the way into your enemy territory and build turrets in there.. the turrets did massive damage..

best was that you could use the traits of each type and adjust your tactics and strategies..

frontal assaults was used with the Atreides.. their sonic tanks went through everything and were very damaging..

grinding everything out was used with the Harkonnens.. so that you can use their nukes when everything has been mined out and come to a standstill..

subterfuge can be used with the Ix.. where they confused the enemy by sending their chemicals to turn the enemy into yours for a while... created total mayhem when the whole enemy force is still in their own territory

Well, I'd love to continue discussing RTS game strategies with you guys, but I've got work to do.

I have a presentation tomorrow, and I need to prepare for it.

Basically I need to lock myself in my room and say it out loud. Embarassed

it is so sad... it's depressing...

about the Gypsies of India, the Vaghri.. they share the same lineage as the Gypsies of Europe..

how some go to the city and only find poverty and degradation...

it is a story of a pair of friends, cousins... one stayed in the tribe, the other went to the city...

the one who went to the city eventually took his own life... Neutral
