sbst275 SG

It's on Ch 8 news just now...

But I read from papers, one of the ladies was flunged by 1m and died later on...

The other has only 50% chance to survive and make it worst she has 3 young children Mad

SMRT, Moving People, Enhancing Live should be

$MRT, Murdering People, Destroying Lives Evil or Very Mad

the Bear SG

say da jia... and if you don't fix my arm and cheaply, you'll see how terok the da jia was Twisted Evil

Laughing

the Bear SG

ahhh.. the bus talking about buses..

sbst275 SG

and to say this

This is alrdy the 4th SMRT bus to be involved in traffic accidents in 2 weeks... And this one somemore it's fatal....

The co's insurance gonna go up sharply and they're likely going to pass it to commuters as on the account of higher cost Mad

*me mysteriously appears in a puff of smoke*

I left school for home at around 8.45pm.

I was planning to stay till 10pm, but my head was threatening to explode.

Neutral

the Bear SG

you need to take a day off or two to do nothing and rest

av98m SG

how come recently so many accidents arh?
Confused

are they ill-treating the drivers or something?

tare SG

if i say tat will he even believe?!

sbst275 SG

Simple

They cut the schedule...

Like for what I know, like for Sv 67, it needs abt 2 hrs to complete...

But they schedule it to just 1 hr 45 mins...

So what to do, the drivers speed, weave in and out of lanes or just skip bus stops if there are too many buses waiting

tare SG

maybe he should take the book "how to idle" Laughing

then again today i work from 8:30am to 6:30pm... consider no work late IF it's a wkday

tare SG

why not just cut the route? Shocked

sbst275 SG

I'm thinking of letting SBS takeover these profitable rts, leaving SMRT to run the lesser profitable rts....

See how they tahan...

fudgester SG

I'd love to... but really, I think the cause of my near-burnout is deep-seated. I'm going to need to whole lot more than two days off... two weeks off would be what I really need. Which is what I'm planning to do - do nothing strenuous in the first two weeks of my holidays.

All I can do right now is to pace myself properly and to take regular breaks to help stave off the effects of burnout - which is what I've been doing. Really, as much as I would love to just slump on a chair and stare into blank space for hours, I've got just under one week left to complete my revision.

I think I'll go sleep now... hopefully I'll feel better in the morning. Neutral

*me mysteriously disappears in a puff of smoke*

the Bear SG

talking bus, go rant at the people..

frankly, there's a big problem you bus maniacs can go solve.. seriously...

offer your obsession to the people at Serangoon..

how to redivert the buses there if they want to close Serangoon Little India stretch each Sunday...

and most of all, DON'T talk about it here!

they need to come up with a solution because the people there are "sick and tired" of the mess there...

seriously, go get the rest of the bus nutters and offer your services to LTA.. maybe you obsessed people will do some good other than take pictures of bus wheels...

sbst275 SG

Heck, you think those ppl will listen to the ppl?

They'll rather spend money to get a foreigner who may not know our local condition to do the planning Laughing

the Bear SG

remember the conversation last night?

if they can squeeze the little people, they will..

just like my organisation.. why not hire more people? but the directive comes in "come up with something but there will be no increase in manpower"

so, ask you... how can 100 people man 140 counters? Laughing

av98m SG

and yet we have WAY too many MPs and *snort* 'Mayors' Laughing

the Bear SG

i still want to know what a Minister of State does?

and how come also got Senior Minister of State.. and dunno what other nonsense..
